Ages 13+ years old

Level 4 Ballet

Dancers develop grace and poise, mastering the art of storytelling through movement. Each class begins with warm-up exercises at the barre, where dancers hone their skills and build strength. As they progress to the center, they work on perfecting their turns, jumps, and combinations, always striving for precision and fluidity. Each dancer is encouraged to express themselves creatively while respecting the traditions and disciplines of ballet. Through this journey, students learn the technical aspects but also cultivate a deep appreciation for the beauty and emotion it embodies.

Level 4 Tap

This engaging form of dance not only promotes physical fitness but also encourages teamwork and collaboration, as dancers learn to synchronize their movements with others. As they progress, students often discover a newfound appreciation for music and its intricate relationship with dance. Tap dance is a dynamic art form that offers endless opportunities for personal growth and artistic expression.

***Tap classes do not fulfill the requirements for the technique classes needed for Acro registration, as the technical skills acquired do not directly apply to acrobatic skills.

Level 4 Jazz

This lively and vibrant dance style blends improvisation, creativity, and physical fitness. Accompanied by upbeat music, dancers explore various rhythms, gestures, and spatial patterns, all while enhancing their coordination, balance, and flexibility.

Level 4 Lyrical/Contemporary

Lyrical and Contemporary dance melds the smoothness of jazz with the techniques of ballet, fostering a deep emotional connection. This style emphasizes improvisation and interpretation, allowing dancers to engage with themes and storytelling.

Level 4 Acro

In this fascinating fusion, students are introduced to a world where agility meets grace, and strength harmonizes with elegance.

Participants will learn fundamental acrobatic skills such as handstands, cartwheels, and rolls, all while emphasizing control and alignment. These skills are seamlessly integrated with ballet positions and contemporary dance movements, creating a unique choreography that showcases both flexibility and precision.

***Because of the unique nature of Acro, all students must register for one additional technique class to be eligible for enrollment in Acro levels 1-4.

Level 4 Dress Code

Ballet/Tap: Young ladies should wear black leotard, pink convertible tights, pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes.

Young men should wear a white t-shirt, black shorts or athletic pants, black ballet shoes and black tap shoes

Acro & Jazz/Lyrical: All dancers should wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that shows their body lines easily. black jazz shoes required for Jazz class. Bare feet required for Acro.
